Merciful Death in Quicksand
A Fire Emblem Heroes QS Fan Fiction

"Hnnnnngh..."
Eir, princess of the realm of Hel, slowly regained consciousness, finding herself face down in a patch of grass. (Where am I...?) Lifting her head up, she saw that she was in a forest of some sort. Bracing her arms against the ground, she slowly pushed herself up into a kneeling position, shaking her head as she tried to recall what happened...
And then she remembered. She'd been in the heat of battle, fending off undead on her black pegasus, when an archer's arrow struck the wing of her mount causing them to lose control... (My steed! Where is he?!) Her long silver hair whipped about as she frantically looked around, but she couldn't see the winged equine anywhere. (Oh no... I have to find him!) Rising up to her feet, she checked herself over to make sure nothing was broken... fortunately, it seemed she was only a bit dirty from her crash landing. So she began stumbling through the forest, looking for her pegasus...
A short time later, it dawned on Eir that she had no idea where she was. (At the least, I need to find my way out of here, to rejoin with the kingdom of Askr...) After all, how could she function as a mole for her mother, Hel, and gain the trust of the Order of Heroes if she was lost in the woods?
So focused on her thoughts she was, that she failed to notice the ground becoming soft under her feet... That is, until, one of her black boots sank in past the ankle, forcing her to stop. Looking down, Eir realized that she had stepped into some sort of gray wet clay, the surface shimmering with moisture...
"Ugh!" the princess grunted in mild disgust as she tried to extract her left foot... But as it pulled free, she felt her right foot sink down to the calf, putting her off balance and forcing her to put her left foot back down, swiftly sinking back in... "Oh no!" She reached down and grabbed her leg, pulling upward and managing to free it again, only for her right foot to sink down almost to the knee, her free leg now resting on the surface, the skirt of her long dress spreading over the surface of the clay...
"What is this stuff?!" Eir gasped as she continued her struggle. "Is this what they call quicksand?" But this stuff wasn't sandy at all... but it certainly acted like quicksand, as her left leg was sucked in again, the clay now slowly rising up her thighs... "Argh!" the silver-haired woman grunted as she twisted back and forth to try and break the suction, the muck gurgling as it took her in deeper as a result, her long hair starting to spread over the shimmering surface...
Eir's struggles slowed to a stop as she felt the clay bulging between her legs, causing an unfamiliar sensation in her groin... "What's this...?" She wiggled her hips again, the sensation suddenly multiplying, causing the princess to fall forward, instinctively putting out her gloved hands for balance, only for them to plunge past the wrists into the clay in front of her. Trying to extract them was, of course, an exercise in futility... Not to mention, the act of leaning forward caused the thick clay to press even more against her groin, a wave of heat surging from that spot and through her whole body, causing Eir to quiver, her nipples suddenly becoming hard and pronounced.
"Wh... what is this feeling...?!" She moaned as she tried to catch her breath... it felt warm, it felt good, and some part of her wanted to feel more of it. Thus, her hips began to slowly move back and forth, Eir quaking as another wave of sensation coursed through her whole body, the quick-clay swallowing her rear end as a result... Trying to straighten up, she could feel the gray muck swirl around her waist as her hips began to buck harder and faster... "O-oh, yes... Oh, yes!" The more her hips thrust, the better it felt, and the deeper she sank...
Eir's eyes popped open as her bloodstream suddenly seemed to be set aflame, throwing her head back and screaming aloud as her whole body burned from head to toe... but instead of pain, it was completely the opposite, crashing over her in wave after wave, seemingly without end...
And then, just as suddenly, it was over, the princess going limp and letting her breath out in a rush as the fire extinguished, leaving behind a warm afterglow. As she slowly came back to her senses, she realized that her breasts were being pushed up slightly by something... Blinking a few times to clear the stars from her vision, Eir looked down, realizing that her bosom was now resting atop the surface of the moist clay, which teased at the dip in the hem of her dress, her arms now sunk past her elbows, though the forearms were slightly bent forward, her legs both pointed straight down. She was now hopelessly stuck in the mire, with little hope of escaping or her own... But she was finding it quite difficult to be concerned about her apparent predicament.
It then dawned on Eir that the corners of her mouth were actually turned upward... she was smiling. The princess of death rarely if ever had reason to smile about anything... but this recent experience certainly qualified, as she closed her eyes and wiggled a bit, feeling the clay caressing every inch of her submerged body, and also fondle her bust from underneath... She closed her hands into fists, feeling the slimy muck flow between her gloved fingers and squish out of her palms... The silver-haired woman quivered and sighed as another wave of sensation surged from her groin... Opening her eyes, she looked upward into the sky, seeing a small bird fly across her field of vision, feeling the gentle breeze that swept through the trees...
(Who could have thought this wet, slimy clay would feel so good...) Eir pondered as she sighed in contentment. In fact, a part of her wanted to feel it even more. So she leaned forward, pressing her bosom into the quick-clay, which promptly oozed into her cleavage, the feeling of the muck on the bare skin of her breasts driving any rational thought from her mind, as her hips began to buck again... she gently pulled at her trapped arms, the sucking and gurgling sounds that resulted being like music to her ears... She shifted from side to side to maximize the feel of the clay on her bosom, arcing more waves of heat through her body... Unintelligible sounds emitted from her mouth as she continued her half-hearted struggles in the thick quicksand...
And then she hit her climax again, screaming aloud as waves of un-painful fire crashed over her once more, thrashing about in her gooey entrapment, stars flashing under her eyelids...
When she again came back to her senses, Eir realized that she had sunk to her chin, the gray muck lapping at her lower lip as it pressed in on her body, restricting her breathing... probing with her feet, the princess found that she still couldn't feel a solid bottom. Did this clay pit not have any bottom at all?
The princess gasped as she snapped back to full awareness, the reality of her situation finally dawning on her. "Oh no! What have I done?!" She looked around frantically, but of course, there is no one in sight... "Help! Help me!" she tried to cry out, but the clay pressing on her chest prevented her call from having any useful volume... Eir tried just screaming, but only a soft humming sound emitted from her throat, so restricted was her lung capacity...
And to make matters worse, her vagina was beginning to throb with pleasure again... "N-No!" she gasped, knowing that if she lost control, she would submerge for sure... "Stop it!" she tried to command her body, but it refused to listen as her hips slowly started to buck again... she quaked with pleasure, sinking down again, the quick-clay now slowly forcing its way between her parted lips, like an overzealous lover's french kiss... Eir moaned in disgust at the taste, but the muck would not be denied as it filled her mouth, a few bubbles popping on the surface...
She tilted her head back as far as it could go, trying to keep her nose clear, her ears now blocked by the muck, which also ran liquid fingers through her silver hair... (No... not like this! I can't die like this... Mother will subject me to unimaginable torture if I fail in such a manner...!) But alas, her body betrayed her one last time, an intense wave of sensation coursing through her, the clay finally filling her nostrils and forcibly closing her eyes as it took her completely into itself, her long hair the only thing remaining to mark her mucky grave... It was almost as if the clay pit was saying, You're all mine now, Princess Eir of Hel... and I'll never let you go... Never...
Only one consoling thought went through Eir's mind as consciousness slowly faded... compared to taking an arrow to the breast, a lance to the torso, or axe embedded in her skull... this was, in comparison, a merciful death.
But then...
Something suddenly grabbed her hair tie, pain registering in her mind as she felt herself being pulled upward. Then it let go, only to feel something beneath her chin- an arm wrapped in a loose sleeve, squeezing her in a headlock... then she felt the clay start to fall off her face, and flow out of her mouth! She exhaled, spitting out most of the muck, before gasping in a deep breath of life-giving air, then coughing and choking a little as some clay tried to go down the airway. She felt herself pulled up a little more, then the arm let go, panic briefly welling up in Eir's heart, before feeling said arm now wrapping around her chest, though the hand ended up fondling her left breast.
As more clay fell away from her head, the darkness under her closed eyelids brightened considerably... and she could hear someone shouting... then another hand wiped more clay from her face, allowing her to finally open her eyes, seeing that said hand had fair skin.
"...r... u... ear... e... Say... thing...!" She shook her head a little, causing muck to dislodge from one of her ears... "Say something, Eir! Can you hear me?!"
"-Yes!" the princess cried out. "Don't let go!"
"Don't worry, I got you!" A male voice responded. She recognized it as belonging to the Summoner himself... what was his name again? Then she heard him yell, "OK, I got her! Now PULL!"
Eir then felt herself being pulled backwards through the clay, her bosom re-emerging from the mire... but the thick quicksand was not so willing to give up its prize, sucking mightily at her dress... She gasped as the bodice abruptly slid down, her bare breasts popping free, meaning that the Summoner was now groping her bosom directly... "Oh crap, I'm sorry!" she heard him say.
"Forget it! My life is more important!" Eir insisted. "Keep pulling!" And so they did, the princess feeling her body slowly being pulled completely out of her dress, though the top still jutted out from the clay pit's surface... She was now basically being dragged over the top of the muck, though her body was still covered in a thick layer of clay... Trying to look behind her, she just barely glimpsed a taut rope, most likely wrapped around the Summoner's other arm.
"We almost got her! Don't stop now!" She heard the voice of Commander Anna, much closer than she was expecting... about a minute later, Eir felt a pair of hands grab her under the armpits, as the Summoner released his grip on her bosom, finally feeling grass and terra firma beneath her... As her chest heaved with heavy breaths, she was vaguely aware of the Summoner being pulled out next to her...
"You okay, Eir...?" A younger female voice spoke, the woman opening her eyes to see Princess Sharena of Askr standing over her.
"-Yeah," Eir gasped out, "thank you so much..."
"Thank the Summoner," the voice of Prince Alphonse spoke up. "If he hadn't seen your hair on the surface and jumped in after you..."
"Which was quite reckless of him, honestly," Anna said. "Lucky for him we had some long, sturdy rope on hand, or he'd have joined you in your impromptu grave..." Eir shuddered with fear at this, at how close she had come to dying and then facing Hel's wrath...
"How did you get so deep anyway?" Sharena inquired curiously. "That clay looks awfully thick for you to go all the way under..."
"I-it... it bulged against... between my legs..." Eir groaned. "And it felt good..."
"Ah-ah-ah!" Anna quickly cut her off. "That's enough, we get the picture, say no more. Right, everyone?" The others present muttered in agreement. "*Ahem* Anyway, we should get you back to the castle to get cleaned up... and don't worry, we'll come back and retrieve your dress later..."
"W-what about my steed?" the princess of death suddenly remembered.
"We found him crashed a short distance from here," Alphonse explained. "He'll be all right, but his wing will have to be put in a splint for a while..."
"Oh, thank goodness..." Eir sighed as she pulled herself into a sitting position. "U-umm, do you have anything to cover me up for the trip back...?"
"Here," the Summoner said as he took off his cloak and wrapped it around the princess' shoulders. "That should work for now..."
"Th-thank you," Eir said as the man pulled her to a standing position. Looking him in the eye, she realized that this was the first time she'd seen his face unobscured... "So that's what you look like..."
"Yeah, kinda weird to see him without his hood up," Alphonse added.
"Well, let's head back now," Sharena stated. "We wouldn't want the others to worry..."
"Indeed," the other three agreed.
And so the heroes set off, leaving the deadly clay-pit behind... But in the back of her mind, Eir thought about maybe returning someday, but not before she figured out a way to keep from losing control and smothering in that stuff.
