I had never seen the original film, but after reading your fan-fic I looked it up, and darned if Tina Louise and Julie Newmar weren't in it! Two of my childhood crushes from the sixties! And here they were also in your own story, too! :D

Thanks and glad it prompted you to see the film the story drew inspiration from originally. :) When you add in longtime horror actor John Carradine to the mix, it had the potential of being a real cult-classic instead of the cheesy and extremely disappointing horror/sci-fi flick. If the film simply focused on the horror theme by making Carradine an aging vampire lord and Tina Louise and Julie Newmar as vampiresses who were capturing the coeds like Blood of Dracula's Castle (which coincidentally, Carradine had starred in as the villains' butler), it really would've been a great cult classic enjoyed today.

This has a real 80s vibe to it. If not 80s, then sometime before 2000, just don't know when since I wasn't born then. And then it has a touch of modern stuff with Area 51. I know it's not a modern thing, but it's definitely a meme right now.
