Quicksand Fans

This story was first written back in March and posted in this forum. Since then, I went back and made some rather extensive re-writes and was preparing to repost it when the outage happened. I then decided to add some illustrations using AI, and you'll see some in the pdf. The ones I really wanted to put there never worked right; apparently the AI image generator I use doesn't understand the notion of an indoor quicksand attraction.

When I saw the post about a Quicksand Theme Park attraction, I made a few final refinements to the story (which has since ballooned to novella size) and wrote 3 sequels. I'll post those sequels in due time, but for now here is the first part of the For Your Pleasure quicksand saga. Enjoy!
