I discovered this story on my hard disk while back, and decided to post it here.

This is a short story I wrote, probably about six years ago. It was for a contest that Kaol was giving. The story never won, but I still think it's a pretty good one.

Of course, if all you're looking for is a quick story of someone sinking in quicksand, you won't find it here!

I have a stack of type written tales I've been slowly transcribing into electronic forms... some I've posted here, with a bit of tweaking... but it is taking a long time. Hopefully I'll add some more soon.
