You lie down onto the soft peat with your upper body. With your weight distributed on the surface you slowly settle in deeper. Turning your head to the side to keep your face out of the mud, you reach out towards the sinking girl once more. Like before she reaches for your hand with her mud-soaked top. Finally you make contact and hold tight.
Next you begin to pull, but you have no leverage. She remains firmly in the grip of the bog and you slide forward. Before your feet lose contact with solid ground entirely, you try to drag yourself back. With your left arm you paddle back while the right hand maintains a tight grip on the girl's life line. It becomes harder to keep your face out of the mud as your upper body settles in deeper. After struggling for about a minute you somehow manage to get your knees back to solid ground. Your face is half-buried in the black peat and you are covered in mud all over. The girl has sunken just past her nipples, but she is no closer to the bog's edge than before. You are still clinging to the piece of clothing that connects you and her.
You try hard to think of a way to pull her out, but in fact you are not quite sure you can even extract yourself at this point.

This one's pretty close (option 2 leading by one vote right now). I decided to write both variations:
