New addition

This is the second attempt at creating a decent Jungle scene. I think I would have liked a bit of foreground to frame it better, but I don't really have the patience for foliage!

Very impressive image. The lack of plantlife in the foreground does not bother me at all. If anything it makes the area look more expansive and adds to the feeling that there is absolutely nothing within her reach.

The conscious choice of the 'twist' pose of her body is a nice touch as she slogs her way along, very dynamic. As a lover of the explorer genre I think this is a great manipulation!

I like what you did with this piece. The action of her twisting to one side and her hair flinging out makes it look as if she's trying to throw her weight forward to yank her legs free. Also, the lack of vegetation in the forground makes this piece even more melodramatic.

For me, it comes looks as if she tried crossing a vast, open area of mud and has finally reached a spot where she got stuck and slowly sinks into as she struggles to her legs free. Either that or she's been walking along sinking deeper with each step until she got to a point where her legs were sunk too deep to pull free.

Oh, yeah, and nice depth, pose, viwe, and camera angle! :D Thanks for sharing!

Many thanks to everyone for your comments. It's suprising how many times I hit my thumb though! Not a natural artist.

This is a superior graphic manip. I like the pose and the setting.
