The Way I wish it Had ended
Why was Tarzan always chasing bad GUYS into quicksand? If He had had any consideration at all he'd have chased a few bad GIRLS into quicksand. Then "Tarzan and the Amazons" might have looked a little like this.

I always thought it was a crime to have Amazons in a Tarzan movie and not have even ONE of them sink in the mud pit! Argh!

Could be he was chasing all of the guys into quicksand to eliminate the competition for the gals. Of course, if he chased the bad gals into quicksand, he'd have to save them... that's his way. Hmmm... perhaps he could be delayed just a bit so we could see the young lassies struggle, grunt, and sink. Maybe Cheeta could conveniently get in Tarzan's way somehow. Thanks for sharing!
