Unfortunately still not working, i believe i found the file you pointed out (Game_Maker), but when opened its acting like there are no assets assigned to that file like its a blank template. also not sure if i already shared this, but here is the exact wording of the error. "ERROR in

OK. Let's start over. Delete what you already have and download this. It's the full game with gamemaker8.1. Unzip the files into a new folder you create on your desktop and then run GAME_MAKER. If this doesn't work then nothing will.

Ok, my pc is unable to fully download the zip because its detecting a virus. exact quote "Couldn't Download-Virus Detected"

I scanned the files with Defender and a few online scanners and I get no virus detections. I've used the software for years now with no issues.
