I am heading back out to the same place tomorrow. I am looking forward to finding some great quicksand out there and will try to get it on video. It's really a lot harder than I thought it would be, as the sensation of sinking gets me so physically stimulated, I have a hard time (no pun intended) controlling my breathing as I try to find that perfect spot to sink down to my neck.

Ever notice that? In most quicksand scenes, the breathing sounds like it was lifted from a porno! If things go well tomorrow, my sinking adventure will definitely sound like a porno!!

Can't wait!

When I do videos, I use a Gorillapod, which I attach to my camera, which you can then wrap its tentacles around anything, such as a stick stuck in the mud. Here is a photo of it I found on the web:

I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!
