Nice work, you framed it well and got the whole sink. Nice location I might add. Would be a nice spot to do a shoot.

Let me guess...it's a peaty, at least partly organic, swampy bog! Yeah, well, it looks a great deal like what I have near my home sweet home.
My compliments on the nice descent and the deepness of the mire. May it never dry up on you. May you never be discovered. May the bog gods smile on you as you sink in it all summer.
Home Movies is turning out to be a good place to visit. I enjoy reality.

Re: begining of summer99
That looks like some nice mud! It looks like it has clay in it. Congrats on your first sink of the season!
I was anticipating my first sink of the season early last week, but when the summerlike airmass reached us, we wound up with overcast skies, and stayed on the cool side throughout, due to lack of sun! Places to the west, southeast (one place in southeastern BC hit 26˚C or 79˚F), east and northeast (even Edmonton, Alberta hit 20˚C or 68˚F) of us got summerlike weather, but we didn't. That airmass is now bringing summerlike weather to Eastern Canada. Now they were forecasting warmer weather here again next week, but they keep moving it further and further away. So, I wait, but with a brand new bicycle to take me to and from my bogs when I do finally go!
Thanks for the clip, and once again, I like the look of that mud, especially the way it bubbled when you hit the soft spot and started sinking faster!

Hot man stuck in treacherous mud. What more does one need, except to wish I was there. <g>
