Found a new spot this summer, can't really find a solid bottom either! Did a little video back of me doing a quick pin dive into it. Its actually along a power line, I knew it'd be deep because the area had to be dug up at one point to put in the bases for the tower that is over top of it, so its kind of a man made spot that nature took over.

can u try digg it deeper so u can go straigh under?

If I hit the right spot, I can almost do that now, but its hard to dig down that far, I sorta have to stomp it deeper, it just gets too thick at the bottom

You can use your feet to dig in and lift up the thicker stuff from below to your hands, and then roll/squish it between your hands in the looser mud higher up. That is what I have done to deepen the top layer of loose mud.
