BoaKhan (Flash Game of 2006)

A Flash game I made in college for the Advance Diploma of Multimedia class.

It was originally meant to be something else but because of teacher's comments wanting me to make the girl younger and less sexy, well at least you know why my character design was not realy that good compared to the original that is here.

That was my original design, but people in my class wanted it to be more complex and more aimed for kids.

Some people in the class hated Anime anyway, I was criticized allot for going for an Anime look because some considered as being too kiddy and thus was the reason why they wanted me to make it into a young jungle girl and not a sexy jungle woman. I had to make it to what the teacher wanted and not what I originally wanted.

In the end of it all it was a huge struggle to make with limited programming skill and less time to develop it I barely managed to finish it in time to get my Advance Diploma of Multimedia.


Still it was a huge achivement but not what I originally wanted. But I hope you enjoy playing it as it was my first ever game and you can find other examples of work from my BoaKhan game including a few character designs for a new updated version of BoaKhan that I am trying to remake into a jumping Pitfall type of game.

Too bad about your teacher shooting down your character (and I kinda know how it happens, because I took art and creative writing in college, myself, and bumped into teachers who did try to editorialize my stuff in that way) but the game is still pretty impressive. I've no idea how people MAKE stuff like this!

Hey, you can always take what you learned and eventually re-design the game your way. I happen to like your original character. I didn't think she was "too sexy" at all. I think she was perfect.
