It's a hosting issue that has happened in the past, although not for a while now.

If it persists, we'll try to get after the hosting company.

Kookus may have something to add, but I think it's something that will clear up (if it hasn't already).

I assume these are related but last night the chat room was also showing a lot of 503 errors. It is still doing that tonight.

It seems very likely. Hopefully the two issues will clear up together.

The MySQL problem is persisting though. I'm going to open a ticket.

I'm on IE and I'm getting it. Nice to know it's not just me.

It's like speed stuck in low gear, plus sometimes get the sql error, sometimes not; sure it'll cure in time

And it is getting worse instead of better....getting the HTML markup page more often than the actual page and it is very slow to load even as that

As of mid afternoon the problem persists. For what it may be worth, however, I know of at least one other totally unrelated service from the same internet host that is working in a very balky manner today as well.
