Quicksand Fans

I’m having to log on with my phone which is still recognising my account.
For some reason my computer won’t let me log in to this site.
Tried the password several times. Says it’s incorrect so I’ve tried the ‘forgot my password’ thing to reset only now it says ‘the email/username information submitted could not be found.’

HELP!

Not being a moderator here I am unaware of any technical issues that might be occurring but as others seem to be getting in its almost certainly something to do with your laptop, as you seem to be aware. First thing I would try would be to make sure your capslock key (and possibly your numlocks key) are set correctly.

Also, I note that your user name shown at the bottom of the screen as a person visiting the site appears to omit the underscore.

Cancel the observation about the underscore. Its just hidden.

There's a few things you could try if you haven't already.
If there's any type of password remembering program built into your browser or antivirus try disabling that.
Type your password into notepad then copy and paste it into the login window.
Login with a different browser.
Clear the stored login data and cookies, or just clear the whole cache.
If you've changed the password during that password reset thing, double check which password works on your phone.

The old ‘turn it off and then turn it back on again’ trick. Time honoured strategy!
