Attachments - a question

Hello!

This has happened a few times and I'm curious about it.

Most of the files I attach work fine, providing a link to a full sized view of the item, such as a picture... but every now and then it seems to embed the picture into the message without providing this option of seeing a larger version. A couple people have commented on this and I can't for the life of me figure out why...

Any guidence or illumination on this matter would be greatly appreciated...

It should only exhibit this behavior when the displayed image is already at full size.

The board will attempt to create a thumbnail of the uploaded image if its width exceeds 400 pixels. If the image is smaller than that, or if creating a thumbnail would result in a file size smaller than 12K, the board will display the full size image inline instead.
