Re: deactivating the account?
There's no automated method for a user to delete his/her account. If you really want your account purged, it can be done from the admin side of the house, but I would think we'd need proof that the person requesting the deletion is the person who signed up for the account. An email from the address associated with the account should do it.

Re: deactivating the account?
Wow! That was weird.
I (finally) answered the gentleman's email and then deleted his account, as requested, and selected the 'delete all posts' option just for kicks.
But I forgot about the 'delete all posts' thing when I got here and saw Kookus having a conversation with himself.
I guess this shit works!

Wow. You couldn't do that at the old place. Once you joined up, you were listed there forever even if you were banned.
You better be careful with that thing. One wrong move and you could make entire threads totally senseless!

It's the voices, man... they tell me to act out like this. There's also one that tells me to dance naked on the bar at Shoney's, but that one's weird.

I, for one, always listen to what the voices have to say. Although I realize they are voices in my head, I find that most of the time, they are not wrong.
