Problems with Yahoo email address?

Hi,

I've got a friend who wants to sign up for the board so she can get to the membership area. She uses Yahoo for email but it keeps telling her that the address is invalid.

Is there a problem with Yahoo email on this board?

I use Yahoo email address and I had no problems during registration and later (all the messages from the board successfully arrived to my inbox).

I don't have access to the validation code for this board, but generally the process of validating an email address examines the formatting. For example, an address will be invalid if it has spaces around the @ symbol. Therefore, the first thing to check is that the address is being entered correctly.

My friend has had really bad luck logging into websites. Not sure why.

Logging in would seem to be a different problem than an invalid email address.
