Question on Postings and Dates
Moderator - why is that that posts NEVER are sorted in the date of the post? I see a huge collection from 2011, 2009, followed by 2010, 2009 again? Just weird.

It depends on which was the last one to recieve a response. If a post from 2010 gets responses and a post from yesterday gets none then the older post is going to get pushed up the list. Hope that helps.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

Yeah, that's pretty much how forums work by default. The list is not sorted by date of original post, but by date of last post.

In "User Control Panel", under the tab "Board preferences" there is a window "Edit Display Options", on which users can change their own preferences of ordering of topics and posts. However, I haven't checked if this works...
