Question on making moving GIFs...

Postby whizbang18 » Fri Aug 31, 2012 2:19 am

Dear QSFans

I've been drawing QS artworks for over ten years but as of this writing, I have never figured out the right program to make moving GIFs. I have a whole stash of QS ideas, along with Non-QS ideas that I would love to make into GIFs. What programs do you guys use? I would love to branch into moving GIFs.

Thanks in advance guys.

The ones I used was an online program called Create-A-Gif, but I certainly whould like to try a different program as well.
Tarzan to Jill Hardy: Girl be still. Not sink!!"
From "Valley Of Mystery" : Don't struggle and do not thrash around; that just makes things worse!

I tried it with a open source program called GIMP (the GNU Image Manipulation Program) Make each pic a layer then go to filters then animation then optimize for animated gif and finally save as a .gif I know it took a while for me to figure out.

Also the company Ulead (which is now owned by Coral) USED to have a free .gif animator program that i remember being easy to use, however they have only a DEMO version for free link:http://ulead-gif-animator.en.softonic.com/

I do have an old copy of the program GIF Animator LE 1.0 that works; I can email the program to you if you like; i could no longer find this program online; its about 2mb.

Good luck.
