The artist decided so. I also prefer to put that tag, even if it is not necessary.

Necrovert, previously known as Zarathul, is a great artist and writer. He did only few quicksand works, but they are real gems. Besides the second work shown above I love this one: http://necrovert.deviantart.com/art/Sandy-298665247 (note the text under the picture)

Yes, this was what I was referring to. The link (via someone's favorites) was posted in this topic earlier. I have to admit, Necrovert is not a quicksand artist, but he drew it perfectly, it's a masterpiece! I also loved one comment there:
"I'm sinking! I'm sinking! I'm....is that a new piercing??"
