A YouTube Xmas

Postby evilhenchman03 » Fri Dec 25, 2009 11:20 am

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!!!

In celebration here is a little collection of new scenes for everybody.

First Off is a funny scene from the British Comedy "Hi-Di-Hi" Episode "The Perils of Peggy"
Peggy fakes a quicksand rescue to make her friend look brave.
Very Special thanks to Dave for his help on this scene. :D

Next is the scene from the russian Drama "Kruzheva" that we were talking
about in:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1338
Special Thanks to Billie Bonce for finding it. :D

The next scene I found while tring to hunt down a different scene.
Its from a Czech Movie Called Kral Sumavy or Smugglers of Death.
A man's escorting a kidnapped woman across the swamps, when
she tries to escape she ends up at the bottom of the bog.

Next is an Artsy Male Scene from the Bollywood film Magadheera
Not great picture quality, but a nicely made Dry Quicksand Scene.

And what collection of mine would be complete without
a couple of animated scenes. First from an Alladin style
Anime Called Farhat where the Hero's mother a father are swallowed
by a sand dune. Then a find from PM2K called Venus VS Virus where
an Evil girl is swallowed by a sand attack. Both are very short
But the Venus Vs Virus scene is really Cool. Thanks again PM2K :D

Well I hope these scenes help you all have a Merry Xmas. Its been a fun year!!

Thank you! Great finds!

(I especially surprised how did you manage to find that Russian video)

LOL

man, I can't call it "a bog scene" at all, it's just a lame simulation of a bog scene. There's no mud at all, only water decorated with some duckweed. However, it's exactly what we expected to see. And the girl is cute, right?

What I sometimes dream about is to take such a cute girl who acted a quicksand scene in a soap opera and who supposes she is a hero and she knows what it is, and to put her in some real stuff where she gets really trapped, where she can't get out, where with all her effort to pull herself out she ends up more and more deep, helpless and desperate. And to shoot all that with candid camera. Than to give her that footage to compare with her acting.

Sorry, sometimes my evil side speaks in loud...

And still I bow low to evilhenchman03 who somehow dug out that scene (I have no idea how he managed to do it...)

Glad you liked it. It took a bit of work. After figuring out its russian name I found a DVD
on ebay of it. The picture quality was so bad it was useless. (They fit the entire series on
one disc). Then I got lucky and found a bit torrent tracker. It took forever and a day to
download but the picture quality is pretty good. So it took a bit of a quest, but some
times thats part of the fun. :D

Excellent find and wish I could give a Kudos to all your efforts. I got a kick out of the first video. As for that Russian one its a damn shame. Beautiful girl and the surroundings/scenery are perfect. But sinking into brown water is just dissapointing. I don't understand why the director didn't add more mud to make it just a tad bit realistic.

Very cool indeed, EH! Thanks for posting! :D

And BTW, as for Venus Versus Virus, glad to be able to help out a little... ;)
