Never heard much about this film, but there is a trailer on Youtube. Near the beginning is a brief shot of of a nurse up to her shoulders in some nice looking QS.

I searched this out some years ago and Dave has it in the collection. It features one rotund, middle aged, nurse, one male idiot in a straight jacket going head first, two or three cheerleaders, all in a golf course sand trap. As usual there is great potential with the cheerleaders but it is a superfast cut away and they they all somehow fall through the roof of a cave below. My personal feeling is that there is a very brief moment of the tops of cheerleaders heads going under and that's it. It's badly comic and extremely lame.

Yea, the scene itself is a big disappointment. Duncan's right in saying that there are a few frames there of when two of the cheerleaders jump in. My guess is that their sinking didn't work out and the re-shot the entrance - with them just jumping into a hole.

Yeah, I definitely believe that you are capable of improving it significantly. To satisfy me it needn't be cheerleaders, exactly, but they still missed quite a bit of opportunity with what wasn't a bad-looking little fake quicksand pit. Not many filmmakers manage to create three completely substandard, crummy, underwhelming sinkings in a row.

In fact, watching that clip...it was one of those clips where...you just watch it, and your mouth drops open, and then, you say to yourself:

"I don't know what that even IS."
