Clint Walker Discusses Scene on "Cheyenne"

Postby Duncan Edwards » Sat Sep 28, 2024 2:11 pm

I'm a big fan of old movies, old westerns, old cowboy and character actors in particular and ran across Clint Walker discussing stunt work on his show Cheyenne and some details on that quicksand scene.

Clint's Interview - https://youtu.be/AvQtXYiUo6E?si=cz5xAvMRY3DZr8OC

His scene from Cheyenne - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzr64xQUbro
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I like how Cheyenne Bodie had a hairy chest in the quicksand sequence, as the chest hair was manly. I like the idea of hairy men sinking in mud/quicksand.

i watched the interview but he never mentioned the quicksand scene, although he did mention a scene involving knocking an indian off a horse onto some sand.
