Re: Wakfu
I'm watching the first 19 episodes of Wakfu to start with in the original French dubbing with English subtitles. Very cool animation style! Best French cartoon I've seen since Mysterious Cities of Gold!
I saw one scene in an earlier episode where one of the girls stepped in some mud very briefly at the beginning of the episode. Seeing how the mud moved in that very brief clip, I can't wait to see what's coming in episode 20!

I didn't know this cartoon existed. Looks pretty cool. The quicksand scene was very well done.

Here's a neat trick for starting at a certain position on Youtube videos:

The key is the "#t="

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Re: Wakfu
Wow, for a few seconds that was amazing! First when she got stuck and it was stringy goo, and then she fell and started to sink... amazing sound effects too.
But alas they then had it cut from her arms and legs being trapped to her being head-deep. Given the rate she seemed to be sinking, that's a good ten seconds of incredible sinking that they didn't do!
Dave Lodoski, for your next project you need to find some mysterious goo that behaves like that.
quicksanimator, do you happen to know which episode had the brief mud scene? While I doubt you know the episode number, was it in the first few episodes, or more around episode ten, or whatever?
