Ah, THOSE Avengers! Oh, yes, I truly enjoyed the adventures of John Steed and his crew from Emma Peel to Tara to the New Avengers series.

ahh, the limits of mainstream media... it's a great peril for Tara (my second favorite to Mrs. Peel), but for every few seconds of her, you get 2 minutes of Steed, or the gloating villains

I hear ya. I loved Emma Peel's "no fear" demeanor (which, dare I say, surpasses that of Kristinne Lynn), but Steed got more "show time." In no way am I knocking Patrick Macnee, but it would've been cool to see Mrs. Peel in one of her black, skin-tight attire stuck and sinking in an English mire. Still, The Avengers was a series that rivaled, dare I say, Doctor Who.
