Yeah.I got the note as well. The bright side is that while dA's way to report is slow,it's not as easily abused as Youtube's automated one.

Yeah, I'd greatly prefer a slow ponderous system that actually seriously considers the situation, than a rapid-response system that will erase something from the internet based on a false claim by someone that has made a mistake or is a troll trying to cause trouble.

You are right, but don't be tricked! dA's system is not good at all. Art theft is definitely not their main focus - and they process such cases rather slowly, and demand evidence. In this case they had complaints from at least three members of dA, one of whom is the owner of the site from which the comic has been stolen. Still, it took time to make a decision.

Would the problem be in "underage character" - the decision could be fast, harsh, and stupid. Not only they remove artworks without discussion, they often ban the account for two weeks or 1 month. Remember, that "underage character" by their definition (not official, but very true) is "any mainstream cartoon character that once appeared in the show as underage". Don't even try to pretend that the character has grown up.
