You mentioned MPV, what means "a model is wearing virtually no clothes" (at least I believe so), and I was thinking about the similar type of mud (a partially dried up lake). So, I basically referred to that scene: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12319
If we speak about cleaner mud (no algae) than another scene looks even better: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12413 , but of course it is too close to the shore. However, this is the magic of cinematography - in this scene the model should be close to the shore so that a passer-by could rescue her. If they wished to make a grim ending scene they could easily shoot it without getting the shore within the frame.
Oh, and speaking about MPV - they released quite a few scenes shot in similar (or better) environment in Canada. Gummi, Darby
