It's a little different in less litigious parts of the world. I've been witness to "pranks" in Central America that would get you prison time here but everyone down there just gets over it and has a laugh. In brazil, the game show of women getting stuck in the cornstarch pool with them struggling to get out is fun, sexy and makes you want to be there. Although America has some shows like fear factor and survivor that may border on a challenge like that, its not the same as these brazil shows.
