I appreciate the thought...but that mud'll be full of RUNNING STRANGERS, and height of my tolerance level for strangers in the mud is that little sandy claypit by the beach. They are okay over there but what with me being one of Us, a mud fetishist...and Them not being Us...I tend to keep a pretty good distance from Them when I use that pit.
YOU are not a stranger, though. So if you get rid of all the other runners, and say that you don't care who wins, and by the way, I haven't done the distance-running thing for 18 years now...so I probably can't RUN in the mud for long any more...can we just sit?
By ourselves?
