Wow, been a while since we've seen a recent-looking comic with a quicksand type scenes. Like with movies and TV shows, quicksand scenes in comics seemed to go out of fashion. Nice find!

The "sinking" scene ends there. The rest involves the crew getting knocked around and she's pulled free.

Ok, I'm going to put on my (very) seldom used gimme hat.
Any chance you could scan and post the page preceding this as well as the page following?
Thanks,

As requested, the page before and after. I've also included the "rescue", which is around 10 pages after that -- and I'd imagine that's what you wanted

Found these improved scans from the Beowulf comic, a scene which has been posted elsewhere before, but maybe not everyone has seen. I did add a brief muddy scene and the page before this one, just to add context to this pretty neat scene. Enjoy!

And in case you were wondering... it all works out okay.
I also added this strange scene of a character sinking in liquid glass, plus a couple of comics, just to fill out the post...

That Beowulf comic is pretty cool, and I gotta say the liquid glass is pretty original.
