And an Info for clarification , The program is from mixed countries , The program itself , The Cast , most victims and most target audience are Egyptians but the producer channel is from KSA and the channel airing it is the "Egyptian Version" of this channel and the location of the filming is from Abu Dhabi in UAE although Egypt has a lot of real quicksand areas in the desert so a fake one won't look out of place at all but they chose to make it in Abu Dhabi

As an engineer, I consider it the most interesting part of the series. It is quite a feat, especially the vehicle that can withstand that kind of repeated abuse. I would have liked to know more about that.

But what I really want to know is what they use on top of the water to create the quicksand effect.

I watched the "behind the scenes" clip last night as promised. They clearly had a healthy budget!!! If I had a budget like that I would be, well, dangerous in terms of what we could do here. It did not show anything that would provide hints about how the quicksand itself was made, other than the fact it was in a constructed pit.

The guest (and 'victim') of the 7th episode of this show was Shah Rukh Khan, actor and director, the "King of Bollywood". Could be, he was interested in how the realistic quicksand pit is set up, how it works, how the 'sinking scene' is seen from the actor's point of view, and how it will look on the screen after editing. Who knows, maybe he got some experience that he will use in his future movies.

I was curious enough about the opening credits to ask for a price quote to translate to English. I was quoted $175. This was steeper than expected. How much interest is here in the English version of the opening credits?

Despite all my initial bitching about the show, I am still following it.

I am behind a week due to vacation, but plan to capture all 30 episodes to my hard drive.

If I had money to burn, I would purchase the translation mentioned in my previous post.

Yeh I'm trying to catch up too as the other site I was owning them from seems to have taken them down and they've become less hackable but I've found another with better quality vids I'm trying to downloan. Plus I LUV Ramez!
