I knew I saw that in an old comic book. Modern Blockbusters seem to have lost the QS part.

Thanks so much posting this!

You're welcome! :D It is getting harder to find new stuff, or stuff not posted already, so it is always awesome to find a new one.

Here is an interesting sidenote. The day you posted this scene, with Batman disguising himself as Solomon Grundy, was coincidentally the same day that the tv show "Gotham" featured its version of the origin of Solomon Grundy! 8-)

Maybe there's hope for Gotham. The scene the comics kept referring to (Bruce helping the other boy out of the QS) happened when they were about the age the character on Gotham is now.

Hope springs eternal!

His body was tossed into a swamp ("Slaughter Swamp"), but it was into water, contaminated by barrels of biohazardous material from Indian Hill, a facility where crazy (psychotic and genetic) experiments were secretly done on people living and dead (who were brought back to life), turning them into freaks.

Post a SPOILERS warning!

I'm a huge fan of Got Ham, but follow it on Netflix, which runs one season behind. Thank you ever so much for prematurely dispensing what should have been a moment of delight. I mean, I knew when they told us that Butch's real name was Cyrus Gold that he was going to become Solomon Grundy, but now, when that moment arrives in the series, all I'll be able to think is "I know what happens."

Mea culpa for clicking the link, but seriously... edit that post and WARN PEOPLE!

I am very sorry. :( I didn't realize that some people were not up to date with the series. I altered my post with a spoiler alert to notify others that may have not seen the latest episode.
