Castlevania III, stage 4
Super Castlevania IV, stage 2
Castlevania Chronicles, stage 8
Castlevania Dracula X, stage 4' (My comment: this one has a whole lot of bottomless muck, which should have been implemented in the PCE version, IMO.)

Chronicles seems interesting with mud maids!

The final level of the arcade game Shadow Force has a knee-deep pool of muck, which just slows down the player. My comment is that it could be better if it were bottomless, but what the hey.

I rather liked that. :)

Glad to hear that. :D Here's some footage extended for context's sake, with the addition of a swimsuit as alternate outfit. Personally, I find the scene kind of cute.

In Super Princess Peach, there is a multitude of quicksand pits, some of which are midair, in World 5: Wavy Beach. Sinking to the bottom does nothing but slow the player down.

From the PC game, based on the animated series of the same name, Winx Club, there is Black Mud Swamp, which has varying depths, up to being thigh-deep. One notable element is the muck's gurgling sound and the sound when wading through it.

Here. I uploaded the scene on Youtube, because QSFans doesn't support WMVs, or that's that it told me.

Short yet sweet. I like how she gets sunk in the swamp. Thanks for sharing!

Nice!

Does it normally have any sound effects? (For me the video was silent.)
