An upcoming game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus (Jan 28) appears to have bogs similar to Breath of the Wild. A presentation for the game showed one fill with Hippoudon.

All this does is make me wonder why sinky pits couldn't be done in the Wild Area, Isle of Armor, and the Crown Tundra. Sure it'd look a little awkward, but still.

Then again, this is Sword and Shield, infamous for being rushed...

A Jumanji game was just announced, and it's actually a stylized version of the board game, with graphics for every danger. They didn't show quicksand, but since it's a recreation of the board game and not a hammy action flick like the last 2, it's implied to be featured.
