Indeed, I've always considered that to be one of the all time best pits.

Too bad Clark got beaned in the head with that vine, but he kept going. 8-)

wow!,. well that makes a change from the usuall crappy "brown water with some floaty bits" scenes ,.. shame he diddnt actually go down though

Ya know, I thought that guy looked familiar. I've seen "Gone With The Wind" quite a few times.

But my head went...

"Nahhhh!"

Good-looking pit too. He could have used it more deeply, but a scene of Clark in quicksand is still quite a find.

I have to agree - the set looked great (and it was indoors) - now I'm scratching my head trying to imagine how they built it - more specifically, what was the "quicksand" - hmmm. Email me if you have ideas.
