The Astrologer (1975)
Somehow I found a new old movie with a QS scene. Its called The Astrologer and it's from 1975. It's also a nudie pic. I think the scene is both male and female. Here's the trailer, and I think Youtube has or is, going to show a live stream for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQZdQzu7LpA

News to me.
Apparently, a lady does drown in quicksand in the film. So, it's worth a look, I think.

Wow! Do you know how rare it is to run across a previously unknown scene these days? Now all we have to do is find it. The hunt is on.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

This hunt may not bear fruit.
Craig Denny (the creator) unfortunately is no longer amongst the living, so we may never get any kind of insight into the truly idiosyncratic vision that fueled this WTF masterpiece.
Sadly, Denney’s death is also going to render releasing the picture a near impossibility for any distributor who doesn’t want to get the shit sued out of them. There’s absolutely no way in hell Denney had the rights to all of those Moody Blues songs (despite crediting the band with the original score), which makes exhibiting the movie a possibility, but a physical edition something of a dangerous proposition.
Maybe 'The Astrologer' is destined to be something of a holy grail picture, only meant to be witnessed by those with the drive to seek it out at screenings across the country.

found this online "When Alexander is later traveling with a widowed Rita, he points out quicksand, but we don’t see it at first. The camera is afraid to look. But soon Rita is swallowed by it, and we get a gratifying image of her hand disappearing into quicksand (albeit free of continuity, like the rest of the movie)."
So curious of how much is actually seen....perhaps like "acid eaters" ...very short.

--Thanx Duncan!I always doubt myself and figure that there's nothing new to discover, but I did somehow have a feeling I struck gold. BTW, this is my second find this year, my first being an episode of Laramie.Duncan Edwards wrote:Wow! Do you know how rare it is to run across a previously unknown scene these days? Scene starts at 22:22, a very good lead up but the lack of visual of her sinking really is disappointing. I wonder if there was a longer scene that got cut.
