Here’s a link to my favorite scene. Its in a Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery (53-April 1974, M, grim). Ive posted these before, but I’ve lost my files so I’m posting a link. It’s about half way down in a story titled “Tender Feelings”. http://readallcomics.com/boris-karloff- ... ystery-53/

This is something I figured I'd never see. A planet where mud is its main feature.

Looking forward to seeing this in the anime adaptation.

A male quicksand scene (and cover) from issue 9 of the Speed Racer spin-off comic Racer X, in which the latter titular character falls into quicksand while on a mission.

Really wish it was Trixie that got stuck in that bog though...

Even more so, I really REALLY wish it was Speed Racer himself that got stuck in that bog...

Why don't people go in quicksand/mud with thier flip-flops/sandals on?

I finally found comics for the 2 "Aguila Solitaria" comic covers posted here years back.

Sorry to say that the first cover has NOTHING to do with the contents, which are poorly drawn for one of these comics,.. :(

#55 does and is better drawn, but the scene appears on the last pages and she is only standing in water. :?

Oh well. Enjoy the covers.

Found last week in the DC comic: Knight Terrors: Punchline #2. Alternative cover, FYI.
