Quicksand Fans

Here's a short but neat scene from Emergency!, the 1970s show about paramedics. In season 3, episode 14, one of the calls the lads respond to is of a lady who fell into an old well. At the bottom, she is up to her armpits and sinking slowly in what looks like grey clay. Not really gloppy, and the scene is short, but I think it is pretty cool.

Wow, that takes me back. I remember watching Emergency! as a little kid and seeing that scene. That was the one and only time I ever saw it until now, lol. Good find, thanks!

That's neat. The well quicksand looks dry, It kind of reminds me of Jumpoff Joe's. Awesome 70's clip.

I remember that scene when it originally aired and I don't think I've seen it since. I was nine or ten years old and my Q-Scene radar was already well adjusted. Dad and I never missed Emergency.

I have to agree. There doesn't seem to be anything down there. No mention of her sinking into anything by the rescue crew, and she came out of the hole dry and dusty.
