Quicksand Fans

Hiya all

Got a lil excited bout a poss quicksand find which you might know about or not? I was in getting a lift from a guy friend and he had a cd on which seemed to be bits of music and interviews which I got him to turn down low as it wasn't really that interesting until my ears pricked up at a mention of quicksand!?

I tried to casually ask what exactly the cd was and turned it up a bit and a woman was talking about a quicksand scene where she was up to her neck and obvs not impressed as she yelled something like 'Who do i have to 'kiss' to get off this film?' and the producer hearing and not being impressed! I pretended to show a bit more interest even though it was only a short mention and idly looked at the the cd which was called Fantasy World of Irwin Allen and the woman was called Deana Lund?

It took me a while to find online as it was a 'bonus cd' and I couldn't find the actual track but is this scene known about?

I have never seen it online.

There is no quicksand scene in Graveyard of Fools, though the setting would have been perfect for it. Perhaps the scene was filmed, and just ended up being edited out of the final version.

Oh that's a shame and there was me getting all excited in the hope of seeing it!

Apparently, "kiss" was not the correct word...

There DOES seem to be a male scene in an episode titled "Manhunt" involving a giant in QS. This is the best image I can find...

Yeah I saw in that interview that someone posted a link to she really said fuck...

Steve, Mark and Fitzhugh watch as a giant convict is pursued by policemen. As the man seeks a hiding place, he stumbles upon the Spindrift, and once the coast is clear runs off with the ship tucked under his arm. With Dan, Betty, Valerie and Barry still on board, the other three can only watch in horror as the convict falls into quicksand and takes the Spindrift down with him.

I also skimmed over “The Graveyard of Fools”, and can backup DangerGirl's statement that there is no QS in that episode (Season 2, Episode 25). Not even close, though the dry ice-fogged graveyard scene gave one futile hopes. Deanna must have been thinking of "Manhunt" when she made the quicksand-related comment.

Here you go...Land of the Giants quicksand scene...all 27 minutes of it! He was in there for awhile.
