"The Mongols" - Anita Ekberg - Life Magazine 3/3/61

Many years ago while still just an early teen I was digging through some old issues of "Life" magazine. Fascinated by great photos, space, and lovely ladies when I chanced upon this image.
Anita Ekberg in QuicksandI purchased the old magazine for fifty cents and still have it. Here it is today revealed by Google's incredible and undiscovered book search.

Found the movie on amazon. Fairly cheep too.
This makes the second time that I know of that Anita finds herself up to her neck..or we find her...

I guess it would have to be. Anita probably had more issues with positive buoyancy than any of the stuntmen in there with her.

I guess you are making reference to Anita being buried up to her chin in sand with Bob Hope in
Call Me Bwana. Strangely I recall having seen that one on television when I was very young. I always recognized her after that.

This is one of those times where seeing the still picture is better than the video footage =p
