Quicksand Fans

Well another find if it's not here. A "making of" video, from the telanovela Além Do Horizonte. There are two really good male scenes in the show, but they've been taken off the web; here's the making for a female scene I can't find.

Welp, yeah.

That was a very nice find! The actress (Juliana) is quite pretty, as is the reporter. Too bad the reporter was not allowed to try out that set.

Quicksand was OK. The show would have done better to hire Dave or Fred to make the pit!

Looking forward to seeing the final, edited scene.

While I agree they, and most other mainstream producers, would have been better off as suggested I am not holding my breath waiting for a call. Having dealt with several producers of more or less mainstream material my impression is that most of them need to look under the sofa cushions for the 52nd card from their deck. I have found most of those I have dealt with try to do too much, too fast, with the result they produce a large volume of junk.

Girl was attractive. A+ ... Pass.

The pit?............water, sawdust and leaves. F .... Fail.

A pretty decent scene - all the leaves helped to hide the watery nature of the pit, plus the addition of some subtle 'gloopy' sound effects. And it ends with the rescuer and the damsel snogging each other! (Presumably they already had some romantic tension.) It's the fantasy of every quicksand fan who is into rescue scenes!

I wish I understood the language - when she's in the quicksand she has some flashback to some guy warning her about something. I wonder if he's warning about quicksand, or if he's warning about that necklace being cursed. (I suspect the latter.)
