Good QS there. It suddenly liquefied under the two and almost captures the rider as well.

I'd sure like to know where around Norco, Ca. this site is. LOT'S of potential.

I did see some possibilities for candidates. The best was "Prado Flood Control Basin". If you have google earth installed, then search for the site under that name. If you don't have google earth, why not? (it's free ).

This looks like it was shot right down in the Santa Ana river there in Norco.

I have explored the Prado Dam area. Looking at it now, on Google Maps, it looks like they re-worked the Dam. I recall there being sluice gates on the western end, and the spillway had a much larger patriotic painting on it. In any case, it's a vast area.

I imagine that this video was shot after some high water in the river. Nice looking stuff. But you would have to go there often to catch conditions like that.

Heh-heh...I guess I know approximately where the"land of ooze" is now.....

OK, I lived in Anaheim and Corona for several years and sunk in many places but I wouldn't go near Prado Dam mud. The dam and flood
control basin is downstream of many dairy farms and the cows effluent flows into it. The water behind the dam is described as one of the
most polluted in the country.

Same around here in the south San Francisco bay area. Along with all the crap and junk and broken glass swept down the creeks and rivers to the bay mudflats over the last few centuries, you have mercury toxins in the mud from run-off from the old and long-closed Guadalupe Quicksilver mines in the San Jose foothills. The county even cancelled a dredging and harbor enlargement plan in Alviso north of S.J. when it was determined that doing so would stir up all those toxins currently trapped and held suspended in the mud.

Civilization has ruined a lot of good spots, hasn't it?
