Very nice double female dry quicksand scene. As these things go, not bad at all. Great find.

Indeed, that was quite a decent scene. Good drama and pacing, good editing with quick sinking moments to build up the tension and work around the dry sand set. Thank you for the find and cut.

Always puzzled me : How can you have quicksand in a desert ? It also appeared in " Lawrence Of Arabia " but since there's hardly any rain in these locations how does it form ?

"Dry" quicksand is really not quicksand, and sometimes involves regular sand flowing into an underground cavern or cavity, the flow started by the sand being disturbed by walking upon it.

Also, some smooth, large grains can act like silo wheat grain under the right conditions, unable to support much weight per square inch.
