Male sinking in a bog (1956 - La Sorcière)

I don't think i've seen this one before. Males doesn't interest me but im sure others in this forum will appreciate it!
Very decent sinking scene!

Synopsis of the scene: A guy is tracking a mysterious female. He gets lost and starts sinking in a bog. He sinks all the way up to his chin untill he is saved by another mysterious but old woman whom helps him out with a rope.

The audio is clearly dubbed but this is the best quality of the film i found on youtube.

That's a floating bog and looks very much like the real thing. Probably shot on location.

Sadly, the mysterious female doesn't do likewise. Marina Vlady is gorgeous and dressed perfectly for a QS scene. Opportunity lost.






She also appears in another movie that may feature quicksand, but again it's not her doing the sinking. I can't find a copy though:
