I ran across a Tarzan radio serial featuring quicksand. Sad to say only male sinking, despite the lovely voice of a actress in the cast.

I had access to a vinyl collection of The Shadow way back when... one episode also had quicksand. That one was a male sinker, but the damsel in distress did get to say "Quicksand!"

That's the same one. QS also starting at the 22:50 mark. The first sink was Tarzan himself and the second was a baddie.
