Great video, It could give also some idea to video producers to explore this option

I can tell you from experience that the foam pits you find in gymnastics studios can be a lot like that, too.

Thinking the same thing. I'm no gymnast but had a friend who ran a gym and I tried the foam pit. That's a workout by itself.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

I think that would be a great idea and cheaper.
Watch beautiful models stuck in a deep ball pit would be great!

I hope you will not take offense but why would it be cheaper?

Certainly not as good as quicksand, but also surprisingly pleasing to watch her struggle It's also interesting when you realize that unlike real quicksand, you're probably not going to float. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
Finally broke down and went to see a psychologist. She told me I just have an overactive imagination—and it really excited her. We're going sinking next weekend. Theo's AI Quicksandbox New stuff every weekend (unless life gets in the way)

Hi Fred! Don't worry! No problem
I think it could be cheaper because maybe to rent or buy some plastic balls and fill some empty pool, would be. Cheaper than build a real mud pit. Just thoughts!

My question was not meant as a challenge. It was a real question. Man-made pits are really just holes dug into the ground and perhaps lined. I have no idea is ball pt balls even CAN be rented but I doubt if such would be cheaper, or even close. From a producer's point of view one must calculate the reality of costs. That means all the costs of building, filling, using, and maintaining a pit over its lifetime divided by an estimate of the number of scenes. I suspect that while a ball pit might produce something interesting due to its novel nature that novelty would be good for a very small number of scenes - perhaps only one Looking at it that way, even if a ball pit cost half of what a traditional pit costs, the cost for one scene could be many times the cost of a traditional scene.
I actually do have a rather large pit that would be suitable (I think) with the only preparation needed being removal of the material already in it - probably two to three days labor done by hand with buckets. A new liner would be about 140.00. Even so I'd have to put such a project in the category of doable only if underwritten by one or more other persons.
