Here's a couple of swamp monsters sinking... from the pages of Psycho magazine, another 1970s horror mag...

I have spent a lot of hours skimming titles with the potential for a scene, plus run across others by accident. Either case, I like to pass them along. I have quite a few more, so stay tuned!

Thanks, jack! :D I've been really lucky this past year, stumbling on quite a number of these lately. I'm glad to be able to share.

Speaking of... here's a weird one from teh Tomb of Terror, an old horror comic. It does have a lot of appealing elements to it. Check it out...

Here's something more traditional... from the 1970s sword and sorcery comic Dagar.

In case you are wondering, the warrior lamenting losing the orb gets back home to find is wife is okay... she had been bitten by the demon snake and with it gone, she recovers just fine... :D
