Howdie:

Just read this review of the new dino film, 65, starring Adam Driver:

"Regardless, marvelously useful and sturdy Somarin technology informs our hero that the ship’s escape craft landed on a mountain 12 kilometers away. So Mills and Koa somehow learn to communicate as they traverse jungles, geysers, quicksand, an ocean shore, rocky cliffs, narrow caves and deciduous forests — that’s some dozen klicks! — to get to their only hope of rescue. Meanwhile, the burning thing in the sky draws ominously closer."

Don't know how the quicksand will manifest itself, but Driver is joined by a teen girl whom he is helping to escape.

(They crash land on Earth 65 million years ago, hence the name and the dinosaurs.)

According to an interview it sounds like Driver’s the one who gets to sink: https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/a ... i-AA18qgoo

Can’t find any trailers with potential footage so looks like we’ll have to wait to see this one.

Comedy Central's new animated series 'Digman!" has potential too - an Indiana Jones type comedy

I saw the movie, indeed Adam Driver's character falls into the quicksand and the teen character rescues him.

Sinking scene was pretty well done. Movie overall was......meh? I'd wait till it's streaming if you're just in it for the sinky part.

The "quicksand" seems to be intended to be some sort of plant debris and doesn't really look like mud or quicksand...
