quicksand in the movie THE TOMB
Found on Apple a coming preview of a film by Bruno Mattei featuring a quicksand scene. An archeology professor leads a group of students on an archeology expedition in Mexico. It disturbs the evil spirits. There is a scene where a female student gets pulled into some nice thick quicksand, Looks like a similar plot to Death Curse of Tartu. It comes out on Sept 5th.

Maybe a little hokey, but reasonably long and not bad for a mainstream-type movie. I would wish I had friends who moved a little faster and stood around less. Thanks for identifying and posting.

After the initial splash down it wasnt bad, when she didnt move. Too much water but not bad.

I remember this movie. It's not new, but good find nonetheless.
And yes, rather hokey. lol A lot of standing around with forced expressions.
Her qs performance wasn't bad for someone apparently terrified of a leafy pool of water.

We were first presented with this some years ago. I recall Dave and I laughing at the comical mess that ensued when she fell in. I'll give the girl points for making the most of it but she was with a party large enough to make a human chain 50 feet long and they couldn't even manage a stick.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.
