I've no idea what movie or tv show this is from, but I don't think I have ever seen this before

That looks interesting.
It says all of them where pushed in.
Could there be more?

I avoid them like the plague. 8-)

This movie crew was too cheap to even throw leaves or sawdust on top.

Even the dirty water hole thing works it you've got the right lady. They kind of failed on that one too.

Not for me. The mud or quicksand has to put on a great and believable performance just like the victim/actor must. Either can spoil a potential great scene.

In case anyone wants a better version of this scene (although, given the response, not very likely), you can find it at the 1 hour, 28 minute mark:

https://youtu.be/KCKjW5nxFt8?si=UbpqmFVd6Fg2-X92&t=5307

The movie, as listed on IMDB, is "Nene Naa" - which came out in 2022: an Indian horror-like film.

I do wish this had thick mud and a longer scene, but it is what it is.

There is a brief second watery sinking scene which begins at the 1:49:16 mark.
